David Fiore, MD Appointed Director Of Medical Education Of Saint Mary’s, In Partnership With The University Of Nevada School Of Medicine


Saint Mary’s Health Network, in partnership with the University of Nevada School of Medicine is pleased to announce David Fiore, MD will serve as the new Director of Medical Education. In his new role, Dr. Fiore will oversee the coordination and collaboration between Saint Mary’s Health Network and the School of Medicine, providing expert guidance and development to medical students, medical residents and post graduate medical education initiatives. Currently, Dr. Fiore is a professor in the School of Medicine’s Department of Family and Community Medicine.

This position bolsters Saint Mary’s and the School of Medicine’s efforts to establish both an educational and clinical environment that will encourage physicians to practice in Northern Nevada. Dr. Fiore’s unwavering commitment to motivate students and residents to become life-long learners will continue to foster the symbiotic relationship between both institutions.

“I am very excited to bring my experience of more than twenty years as a practicing physician and physician educator to nurture a strong collaboration between community physicians, hospital leadership and staff and the School of Medicine,” said Dr. Fiore. “I feel this new position will help usher medical education at Saint Mary’s to a higher level.”
