SAINT MARY'S INTRODUCES MEDICAL WEIGHT LOSS PROGRAM

Health Network to host free educational seminar, open to the public.

(Reno, Nev.) Saint Mary's Health Network will bring the scientifically-designed weight loss program, Ideal Protein, to the Reno-Sparks community. Ideal Protein is a medically-supervised, reduced carbohydrate, low calorie, ketogenic protocol that offers a combination of whole foods and highly bioavailable, protein-based meal options. This balanced approach is designed to promote fat loss while maintaining lean mass, so individuals receive the ideal amount of protein based on their body weight, as well as vegetables, carbohydrates, vitamins, and minerals.

“We initially started this program as an employee-only benefit, and the results were so well-received that we are eager to expand to the public,” said Mary Ewart, of Saint Mary’s Fitness Center. “Since the start of the program at Saint Mary’s, employees have lost more than 813 pounds.”

Participants can expect predictable, repeatable and measurable results while on the program and are expected to lose an average of two pounds per week while on Phase One of the four phase program.

Different than most weight loss programs, Ideal Protein has a weight maintenance program for individuals to follow once they reach their weight loss goal. Phase four of the program provides structure and accountability for individuals to keep the weight off.

Saint Mary’s is inviting anyone interested in Ideal Protein to attend a free educational seminar on September 21 at 7:30 am, 9:30 am, 12:15 pm or 3:30 pm at Saint Mary’s Human Resources Building, located on the second floor at 520 West Sixth Street, Reno, NV 89503.
