Neurology Services at Saint Mary's

At Saint Mary’s, our Neurology Services have created a Stroke Care Center of Excellence, offering a high level of technology and expertise.

It begins in our Emergency Department, with a team who understands the special treatment needs of patients who are having a stroke. Our Inpatient Rehabilitation Program and Outpatient Therapy Services are accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities, also known as CARF, meaning that Saint Mary’s continually meets internationally recognized standards of excellence and is committed to enriching the quality and service of our programs.

Unique among Northern Nevada hospitals, our Risk Reduction Center helps people understand and manage the risk factors for stroke. The Center for Health & Fitness provides a state-of-the-art facility for prevention and recovery. And Saint Mary’s has the distinction of participating in the American Stroke Association’s Get With The Guidelines - Stroke program, the premier hospital-based quality improvement program that helps ensure continuous enhancement of stroke treatment and prevention.
