Richard Bryan, Jr., MD, FACC
Chief Medical Officer/Chairman of the Board
An accomplished professional and University of Kentucky cardiovascular
disease fellow, Richard Bryan, M.D., serves as the Heart Institute’s
medical director. Dr. Bryan has practiced in northern and rural Nevada
for 16 years. He attended medical school at the University of Nevada School
of Medicine and completed residency in internal medicine at the University
of Utah in Salt Lake City. Prior to joining Saint Mary’s Center
for Cardiovascular Care, Dr. Bryan worked at Sierra Nevada Cardiology
Associates as an invasive cardiologist. The son of former U.S. Senator,
Richard Bryan, Dr. Bryan has published a variety of noted research articles
and has been featured as a speaker for several academic and clinical conferences.
Dr. Bryan is a fellow of the American College of Cardiology, a member
of the American Medical Association and director of the Nevada State Medical
Association/Washoe County Medical Society.
