QUICK FIT 6-WEEK FITNESS AND NUTRITION PROGRAM NOW OFFERED TO THE NORTHERN NEVADA COMMUNITY
RENO, Nev. – Tuesday, July 15, 2014 – Saint Mary's Fitness Center is now offering Quick Fit, a new 6-week fitness and nutrition program designed to achieve overall health and fitness goals and maximize progress. The Quick Fit series begins on Monday, August 18 and all training sessions are held at 7:00 a.m. Orientation will be held on Friday, August 15 from 5-7 p.m.
"We are excited to be able to offer such a unique and innovative program to our members and the community," said Amanda La Torre, manager of Saint Mary's Fitness Center. "The Quick Fit program presents exciting new challenges to participants and it is easily adaptable to fulfill the needs of individuals and achieve their weight loss goals."
Led by experienced certified personal trainers and a registered dietician, the Quick Fit program will encourage and inspire individuals of all fitness levels to train well and maintain a balanced diet. Using a combination of muscular conditioning, aerobic and anaerobic training, flexibility modalities and sound nutrition principles, Quick Fit will: provide participants with the foundations for healthy sustainable eating, improve muscular and cardiovascular fitness, improve body composition, build confidence and motivate participants to reach health and fitness goals.
The Quick Fit 6-week program offers 4-day or 6-day per week group training sessions, depending on individual preferences and goals. Both options include an orientation with a baseline assessment and review of the nutrition plan tailored to each participant. Mid and post assessments will also be conducted to gauge progress and celebrate success.
The Quick Fit program includes:
- Easy to follow meal plan developed by a registered dietitian
- Outdoor cross-training workout 1x per week
- Total body conditioning workout 2x per week
- Stretch and release class 1x per week
- Indoor cycle day 1x per week (6 day/week option only)
- Aqua fit class 1x per week (6 day/week option only)
Those who sign up with a partner will each get 2 days/week of small group personal training classes free for the month of October. The Quick Fit program is affordable for both members and non members: 4 days/week – $249 members, $299 non members and 6 days/week – $299 members, $349 non members (includes aqua and cycle and training).
