STABLE re-certification course for NICU staff.

S.T.A.B.L.E. is celebrating 20 years of providing training to healthcare professionals involved in the stabilization and transportation of neonates.

This certification class is based on the mnemonic S.T.A.B.L.E to optimize learning, retention and recall of information, S.T.A.B.L.E. stands for the six assessment and care modules in the program: Sugar, Temperature, Airway, Blood pressure, Lab work, and Emotional support. A seventh module, Quality Improvement, stresses communication and teamwork as well as the professional responsibility of evaluating care provided to sick infants, with the ultimate goal of improving future care.

Stabilization is a team effort! Therefore, any health caregiver involved with delivering, post-resuscitation and/or pre-transport care of sick newborns would benefit from the S.T.A.B.L.E. Program Learner/Provider course, including:
