Saint Mary's Breast Cancer Center of Excellence

Nevada's first NAPBC-accredited breast program

Saint Mary’s Center for Cancer is accredited from the National Accreditation Program for Breast Centers (NAPBC), becoming the first accredited breast program in the state of Nevada. Administered by the well-respected American College of Surgeons in Chicago, Ill., the NAPBC is a consortium of national, professional organizations dedicated to the improvement of quality care and the monitoring of outcomes for patients with diseases of the breast.

The NAPBC Board, made up of leaders from major disciplines, mutually defined 27 program standards and 17 program components of care that make up the rigorous internal and external performance assessment.
